TGIF & Feature & Follow (#9)

This Friday’s Feature & Follow question (hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Alison Can Read) is:

Q:Best Cover? What is the best cover of a book that you’ve read and didn’t like?

Probably Clockwork Angel, by Cassandra Clare – I loved the cover but didn’t really enjoy the book, I just found it dragged a lot.  Also, I didn’t think Tessa was especially likeable – I just can’t support a girl who doesn’t like chocolate!

TGIF is a weekly feature hosted at Greads.

The question this week:

Choose Your Next Read: How do you go about choosing
what you read next? Do you have a schedule you follow, or do you read whatever makes you happy at the moment?

I’m still trying to find a balance for this at the moment.  Before I started blogging, I just read whatever I fancied, but now I’m trying to balance what I’m in the mood to read with what I should be reading for review.  As well as that, I’m abusing the library while I’m home for the summer, so I feel like my reading order should be: “Review copies, library books, personal choices”….but sometimes that makes my reading feel more like a chore, and that is definitely NOT the aim!

So I’m currently trying to find a balance – and if that means that once in a while I’m behind on what I SHOULD be reading, I’ll let it go, because I blog for me at the end of the day!!

  1. lolz..I couldn’t get on board with a girl who did not like chocolate.
I echo your sentiments exactly about picking a book to read.
I sadly overbooked myself for tours so now I am quickly reading to get back to the awesome books I got I had been dying to read for a long time now.
