Reading
Plan for last week:
- Personal choice: Continue The Night Circus
- Review pile: Start The Dragon Keeper
- Blog tour: Continue (and hopefully finish) She Wulf
- Blog tour: Start The Claiming Of Sleeping Beauty
Okay, please tell me I’m not the only one who’s had a poor week?! I’ve been manically busy trying to get all my shopping etc sorted for back to uni so I basically haven’t touched The Night Circus. On top of that, I’ve just been really restless, so reading hasn’t exactly been a success this week! I did finish the Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, but my copy of The Dragon Keeper hasn’t arrived so I haven’t even started that! I’m taking on some new books this week in the hope it inspires me a bit!
Plan for this week:
- Personal choice: Continue The Night Circus
- Review pile: Start Dearly, Beloved
- Review pile: Start Ironskin
101/1001
Okay normally I post a list of what I posted last week here, but I’ve moved that recap to my Sunday post (found here), as part of my Stacking The Shelves post. This is to make room for my new 101/1001 progress report! I started a 101/1001 list years ago, and loved it, but I found it really hard to keep on top of, because it’s so easy to think “I’ve got AGES left to fit that in”. So I’m hoping by recapping my progress (or lack of!) each week, I’ll feel more motivated!
My full list can be found here (On StudentSpyglass.com) and here (on the Day Zero project website).
Progress last week:
- Blog, Goal 2 – Write 100 blog posts – Complete!
- Fashion & Beauty, Goal 3 – Buy a “Full set” of make up – Bought a foundation from the No 7. range.
You know that matching machine thing on the advert? Can’t fault it. I’m really pale, and normally every foundation looks orange. I only really want to wear it for nights out, but it’s so nice to know I can now do that – in the right colour!!
If any of you have a 101 in 1001 list feel free to post a link to your lists/progress 🙂
Disclaimer
– The book links included here go to Amazon – yes this DOES mean that if you choose to purchase the book through that link, I may make a small percentage of the sale.
– This in no way increases the price of the book to you, and every book included here is one I personally have read/plan to read. I have chosen to include Amazon links not only for monetizing purposes but also because Amazon is where I buy my books – they’re cheaper than competitors, include free delivery and offer student discount.
What are you reading? What are your plans for the week?
If you’d be interested in posting your reading plans for the week, write a post or comment, head on over to Book Journey’s page and submit your link. For every 10 posts you read/comments you make you get one entry into her giveaway.
I wish every week could be the best reading week ever but it doesn’t really work out like that. Enjoy your books this week!
I LOVED the Night Circus. I hope you enjoy it and that you have a better reading week!
All the books you mentioned look like great reads I’ve added them to my tbr pile!
Happy reading this week!
Check out my It’s Monday! post 🙂
