Top Ten Tuesday (#43): Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me

Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted at The Broke and The Bookish where they post a list idea and everyone is welcome to post the list with their own answers.  This week the theme is Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me.

My family don’t generally buy me books, because they never know what I’ve already read, so my chances of receiving any of these under the tree are very low! This is a list of books I’d love to receive for Christmas this year if Santa decided to take pity on my probably book-free Christmas!

The authors I know I like

Attachments  |  Perfect Ruin  |  To be a cat

I really enjoyed Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, and The Humans by Matt Haig was one of my five star reads from this year.  Although I’ve only read one book by Lauren DeStefano (Wither), I really enjoyed it and this new series sounds too good to pass up!

The Sequel

Altered

I loved Crewel, and I can’t wait to read Altered. I did actually order it, but a series of disasters meant I never actually received it, and I’m still waiting to get my hands on a copy to find out what’s next for Adelice.

The Ones I’ve heard great things about

For Darkness Shows the Stars     |    Across the Universe    |    Not a Drop to Drink

I’ve heard great things about all three of these but for one reason or another still haven’t got around to picking them up.  A delivery from Santa would mean I could finally get to see what all the fuss is about!

From my 101 fantasy list

The Emperor’s Knife    |    Zenn Scarlett   |   The Ocean at the End of the Lane

These are three I’m particularly looking forward to knocking off my 101 in 1001 fantasy list.  I’ve heard great things about both The Emperor’s Knife and Zenn Scarlett, and who can resist a Neil Gaiman book? (Especially with a cover like that!)

Which books would you love to see under your tree tomorrow?
