April’s theme: Do you own any gaming merchandise? Show them off, or tell us what merch you would most love to have!
I don’t think I own any gaming merchandise, aside from a few Pokemon tees. There are PLENTY of gaming related things on my wishlist though…
I admit, I am probably one of the most unfit people in the country – seriously, 30 seconds of jogging and I’m dead! – but I’ve been making an effort recently to try and get healthier. I’d love to treat myself to some fun tops for exercise, as a boost (and also because I don’t feel like myself if I’m not wearing SOMETHING geeky). LookHuman, who make all of the tops above, have some brilliant tops, but I think I’m just going to invest in some cheap plain tops and some fabric pens, because if I order the LookHuman ones they’ll take all year to get here, and I’d have to pay for customs etc. I love browsing for inspiration though, and I really love these gaming designs!
We’re staying with family this year (and probably next year too), but we have two rooms to ourselves; the bedroom and the spare room. The spare room just has a sofa bed, our TV and games consoles, so it’s pretty much just our movie & gaming space. I’d like to redecorate it so it’s a bit more ‘us’, but I also don’t want to spend a fortune on it, or go TOO overboard and have it look like a thirteen year old boy’s room! The above aren’t all sensible ideas (for one thing, we’d need a huge room for that controller decal!), but I really like them. How cute would the Player One and Player Two decals be above our respective seats on the sofa?! Especially with some cute cushions too 🙂 While decorating isn’t top priority at the moment, all of the above are on my Pinterest inspiration board!
This is, without doubt, where I’m most likely to spend money. I have a weakness for geeky jewellery, for adding a bit more geek even on days when I can’t get away with a fandom t-shirt! A cheap, small way to add some nerdy fun to my day is just something I’m hopeless at resisting!
I’m currently playing through Lego Marvel (though I admit I reall haven’t got very far yet!), which I’m really loving, and I’m especially appreciating that Matt and I can play together!
