Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted at The Broke and The Bookish where they post a list idea and everyone is welcome to post the list with their own answers. This week is “Top Ten Books On My Summer TBR List”.
[Also, I realise it’s not Tuesday! This week has been absolutely crazy. I debated skipping TTT this week when I missed Tuesday, but I love writing the seasonal TBR lists – even though I’m not great at sticking to them – so instead I just decided to post late.]
The Wise Man’s Fear (Kingkiller #2): I’ve started this one already, so I seriously hope it’s going to get finished during the summer 😉
Fool’s Quest: My love for Robin Hobb is no secret, and I really loved getting back to old favourite characters in Fool’s Assassin, so I can’t wait to read the sequel – definitely one of my most anticipated reads of the year.
The Heir: Although I’m not desperate to read this one, I enjoyed the rest of the series, and I bought a copy recently, so my chances of reading it over the summer are pretty high.
Embarrassing confession: all four of these were actually on my Spring TBR list, but aside from The Knife of Never Letting Go I haven’t started any of them yet! Instead of adding loads more books to my TBR, I’m going to try and concentrate on getting these ones read 😉
American Gods: I’ve been listening to this one since the beginning of May, but now that I’m not commuting to uni and back everyday (which was adding up to 20+ hours a week of audiobook time), audiobooks have fallen to the wayside a bit. I want to make it more of a habit over the summer, so this is way up on the priority list.
Snow Like Ashes & Ice Like Fire: I read Snow Like Ashes right in the middle of a reading slump last year, and it just didn’t have much of an impact on me. I think Ice Like Fire will definitely benefit from a re-read of book 1 first, so I’m hoping to get both of these read.
A Thousand Pieces of You: This was also on my Spring TBR list and hasn’t yet made it to the top of the pile…
