My Week
This week was a bit all over the place really – a fair few ups and downs! The ups: it was my birthday on Tuesday, so we went out for dinner, which was very nice and I had a manic but enjoyable weekend, helping Matt browse laptops and spending time with my family. On the down side, I’ve also managed to come down with a cold on top of hay fever, so I’ve been a bit sniffly and feeling sorry for myself too. I decided to cheer myself up by spending a day in bed watching Netflix and discovered Sword Art Online which I’m quite liking.
Other than Sword Art Online, I also watched Mulan 2 (also on my sick day), Kingsman, Interstellar, and a few more episodes of Orange Is the New Black Season 3. I finished The Knife of Never Letting Go, which was good, but hasn’t left me desperate to pick up the second book before starting anything else. I’ve now started A Thousand Pieces of You which I haven’t got very far into yet but which I’m finding interesting so far.
Next week Harry Potter Month starts (still time to sign up!), so I’ll mostly be taking part in that and working on my dissertation, though I’ve also got a few social things planned, including a delayed birthday barbecue at the weekend 😀
