Fandom Mashups is a great new feature hosted by Micheline.  Every week, a unique fictional scenario is proposed, and everyone then builds their personal dream team of five fictional characters from five different fandoms to complete the task!  Anyone is welcome to join in, just make sure to link back to Lunar Rainbows.

This week:   You’ve encountered a new monster you’ve never faced before and you need to learn more about it in order to take it down. Who do you want on your research/fighting team? Keep in mind that ideally, these people are both book smart and able to fight.

1. Willow Rosenberg

Willow could not only help with research, but also with magic for the fighting – I feel like having magic on our side is always a good thing, who knows what this monster can do?

2. Hermione Granger

Hermione was an obvious choice this week of course, but how could I leave her out?! Again, research + magic = perfect combination.

3. Elena Michaels

Kelley Armstrong’s Elena is a journalist and also a kick-ass werewolf, so again, she can help with research and the fighting.

4. Celaena Sardothien

Magic’s great and all, but having some physical fighters seems like a good idea too.  What if we end up fighting a magic resistant dragon or something? Celaena’s skills with weapons would come in pretty handy at that point.

5. Bruce Banner

As a scientist, Bruce is pretty used to research.  Plus, we could say “We have a Hulk!” which would just be awesome 😉
