November Wrap-Up: The one where I sort of disappeared…

Reading

As you might have guessed from the distinct lack of blogging in November, it’s been a crazily busy month here!  I took part in NaNoWriMo so that took up a lot of my freetime, and although I didn’t win, I did get 25,000 words I didn’t have before, so that’s a plus.  It was my anniversary with my boyfriend this month, and as it happened to fall at a time when we both had a few days off, we decided to go to Prague which was absolutely lovely!

Watching

We saw Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find them which I loved!  I had a few plot-point questions that I’m not convinced about, but it was visually awesome, and just super enjoyable.  In terms of TV, I’ve watched quite a lot – probably because after spending so much of my time brainstorming plot ideas and trying to find words for NaNoWriMo, I wanted to just switch off a bit!  I’ve watched some Pretty Little Liars, Nashville, The Apprentice and Westworld.  Westworld was a new addition to our watching this month, and while it’s a bit slow, I am really intrigued by the mystery and the world, so I’m really enjoying it.

How was your November?

  1. November was a slow blogging and reading month for me as well – I’ve not been doing well on either fronts for a bit! Hopefully December will calm down for both of us! Congrats on your NaNo results and YAY on Fantastic Beasts! I loved the world, characters, and beasts but I also had a few plot issues – nothing to stop me enjoying it though! And Happy belated Anniversary to you and the boyfriend!! Prague sounds like perfection ♥
