Forgive me blogosphere, for I have sinned…

Ever feel like you’re juggling 3000 things at once and doing none of them well? That’s kind of where I’m at recently. I’m spending the vast majority of my time either at, or commuting to, uni, (about 12 hours a day at the minute). As well as that, I’m trying to do university work in the evenings, spend some time with Matt, read, blog and visit my family. By the time the weekend rolls around, I’m exhausted! Things have been particularly bad because I was away with uni for a week at the beginning of this month, and next month I’ll be away for two weeks! I’m also back at Weight Watchers so I’ve been making a real effort to eat real food, not quick and easy stuff all the time, and although Matt’s doing pretty much all the cooking, we obviously still have to put in time for meal planning, shopping etc. I realised this week I’d forgotten to do something important (that’s been on my to do list for literally weeks) and it really hit home just how not-on-top-of-things I am. I’ve always been a planner and a list maker and I hate constantly feeling like I’ve forgotten something, so this weekend I’ve been really trying to get organised. I miss blogging – blogging is my space, to say and do whatever I want – so I’m definitely not stopping, I’m just trying to figure out a way to balance things out. Maybe by incorporating recipes/weight loss progress/non bookish things etc, as well as the bookish things. I’m not sure yet – adding non-bookish things means I don’t feel ‘pressured’ to read when I’m too busy, and I can add more of my regular life in, but I also know it’d put some people off so I really have no idea yet!
Hmm, well, that got a bit ranty and less chirpy than I’d like, sorry! Usual cheerful self coming up soon, honest.
