Challenge Progress: What’s in a name & European Reader

The challenge:

  1. A book with a topographical feature (land formation) in the title
  2. A book with something you’d see in the sky in the title
  3. A book with a creepy crawly in the title
  4. A book with a type of house in the title
  5. A book with something you’d carry in your pocket, purse, or backpack in the title
  6. A book with a something you’d find on a calendar in the title


  1. Topographical feature: Eye Lake
  2. Sky feature: The Fault in our stars
  3. Creepy crawly: The Girl who kicked the Hornet‘s Nest / A Feast for Crows (Not crawly, very creepy!)
  4. House: Dragon Haven
  5. Pocket/bag item: A Storm of Swords: Blood and gold
  6. Calendar: Twelve Months

The challenge: Five Star (Deluxe Entourage): Read at least five books by different European authors or books set in different European countries.


  1. Leviathan (Austria)
  2. The Penelopiad (Greece)
  3. The Girl who Kicked the hornet’s nest (Sweden)
  4. Anything he wants (German author)
  5. The Future we Left behind (UK Author)
