Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted at The Broke and The Bookish where they post a list idea and everyone is welcome to post the list with their own answers. This week the theme is 10 books/authors we’re thankful for.
For making me love reading
1. David Eddings
For making other people read
I might not love all the books that become a sensation, but I do love that they get people I talk to everyday reading, when they wouldn’t usually, and I love being able to talk to them about books!
3. Harry Potter
5.Twilight
For making me step out of my comfort zone
I freely admit that a good fantasy novel is my go-to choice, and before reading challenges/book blogging, a fantasy book would be my choice 90% of the time. These books made me love other genres as well (though fantasy is still my top choice!)
6. Wolf of the Plains
For making me think/want to get organised
8. Handle with Care
10. Cookbooks
I know this isn’t a specific book, but I do love a good cookbook – it makes me want to get organised and either turn into one of those women who bakes a lot or someone who cooks really healthy, delicious food, depending on the book!
I’m very thankful for Harry Potter and TFiOS too! I love those books!

Cookboks always make me wish I lived some sort of stepford life! Then I eat the entirety of what I’ve baked and just wish for more!

Great list. I guess I have been so busy snarking on Shades and Twilight I haven’t thought about the fact they do get people to read. Thanks for pointing that out.
Totally agree with Harry Potter! – that book was my childhood!
