The Weekly Recap (#41)

This week on the blog

Shadow Study [NetGalley]

Total spend: £0

Just one new book for me this week but I’m really excited for it. I absolutely loved the Study books and I can’t wait to read more about Yelena and Valek.

My Week

This week has been really very unexciting! I had my exam on Friday (it wasn’t as good as I’d hoped but it wasn’t as bad as I’d feared either so who knows!), which I am thrilled is over.  I pretty much just spent all week revising like crazy for that, so I haven’t had much time for blogging or reading. By the end of 8 hour days of revision, I was feeling pretty zombified, though I did give myself a post-revision reward each day to look forward to. As a result, this week I’ve watched Jurassic Park 1-3 (for the first time) and went to see The Theory of Everything with some friends.  I went out last night with a couple of friends and Matt and was feeling very celebratory as the exam was over, so I’m feeling a little bit worse for wear this morning as a result!

You may have noticed that my weekly recap is being posted a day early.  Like Oh, the books, GeekyZooGirl will be moving servers over the weekend (I’m not sure yet whether it’ll be tonight or tomorrow) and we’ve been advised not to add any new content for 48 hours afterwards so I’m getting this up early instead!

Finished: Red Queen (E-arc),

Continuing: The Name of the Wind (From my shelves)The Happiness Project (Audiobook)

  1. I’m glad your exam is over and done with and also happy it wasn’t as bad as you had feared! I’m sure you’ll do fine 😀 Yay for celebrating afterwards, definitely earned that! But, boooo for hangovers >.< the bane of my existence and the reason I hardly drink anymore…

I hope you adore the new Study book – man, I NEED to get into that series already…I think I've owned the first book for over a year now o.O Happy reading Faith ^^ ♥
