My Week

This week I went back to uni, so it’s just been a week of settling back into routine really.  I haven’t quite managed to get the blogging/reading/uni work/socialising/exercise balance right, but I’m working on it!  Nothing particularly exciting to report on the uni front, but I’ve done some fun socialising bits this week.  I went out for thai food with Matt and his mum which was lovely. I went for dinner with a friend and then a few of us went to see Into the woods (mixed feelings but worth seeing), and I went indoor skydiving with my dad!  So all in all, a very fun week.

I’m spending the weekend catching up with Matt, working on my Bloggiesta goals and doing a little bit of wardrobe planning.  To explain: I moved in in September, I still have stuff everywhere.  Small wardrobe + poor planning = floordrobe, so I’m trying to come up with budget friendly re-organising solutions.  I’m also going to squeeze in a bit of Sims 3 if I get chance because I haven’t played in ages!

On the reading front, I finished The Happiness Project on my commute, which I actually really enjoyed. I then started Dorothy Must Die, but half an hour in I was absolutely not enjoying it, and the only thing worse than being stuck in traffic on the M25 is being stuck in traffic on the M25 and listening to a book you don’t like, so I’ve ditched that (for now at least) and started listening to Serial instead, which doesn’t count towards my reading challenges but is very addictive!

Finished: The Happiness Project (Audiobook)

Currently Reading: The Name of the Wind (From my shelves), The Mistress (From my shelves),

    1. Ooh, that sounds promising! I’ve heard great things about it, but I just wasn’t dying to pick it up after I finished Scarlet, so fingers crossed!

  1. I hope the return to uni went smoothly – oh and I’m out of uni and STILL haven’t found a balance between life/work/reading/blogging LOL From the reviews I’ve read, I don’t blame you for ditching Dorothy Must Die…and honestly I’m quite keen on you starting in on Cress haha 😀 Oh and I really wanted to see Into the Woods too but…then I found out it was a musical >.< I don't mind *some* songs in my movies but my bff told me that it's almost ALL songs, so I think I'll pass. Glad you felt it was worth seeing though despite the conflicting emotions! Hope your week is going great 🙂

    1. That does definitely make me feel a lot better lol. I’ve given Dorothy Must Die another go since, basically just because I had nothing else to listen to on the way to and from uni one day and no internet to download anything else. The story is at least getting more interesting but I still want to punch Amy so that’s a downer!

I’m STILL not sure how I feel about Into The Woods…and I didn’t think any of the songs particularly stood out, which isn’t great in a musical. I’d definitely rather watch Frozen again 😉

I’m thinking of starting Cress tomorrow when I get back home. I actually meant to take it to the hairdressers with me today, but my friend stayed at ours last night, and she was still in bed when I left this morning…which is when I realised I’d left it in her room of course!
