Fandom Mashups

Fandom Mashups (#11)

Fandom Mashups is a great feature hosted by Micheline.  Every week, a unique fictional scenario is proposed, and everyone then builds their personal dream team of five fictional characters from five different fandoms to complete the task!  Anyone is welcome to join in, just make sure to link back to Lunar Rainbows.

This week:  There’s been a murder *gasp* and the police are calling it an accident but you know they’re wrong. Who do you call up to investigate with you?

1. Sherlock Holmes

The obvious choice, Sherlock is an absolute must for this week’s topic – I have to admit though, he might drive me crazy!

2. Eve Dallas (In Death series)

If I ever needed police help, Eve Dallas is the one I’d want to help me out: she’s through, she’s loyal, and she’s absolutely dedicated to doing the right thing.  Plus, the fact she’s also on the police means the police might take us more seriously than without her on the team.

3. Chloe Sullivan (Smallville)

In any investigation like this, I’d definitely want someone who wasn’t technologically challenged, someone who could dig through records etc, and Chloe would be a great asset to the team.

4. Matt Murdock (Daredevil)

Matt’s got a brilliant mind, and as a lawyer he’d also know what can and can’t be used as evidence, what defences are likely to be mounted against our case etc, all of which is bound to be helpful.

5. Hermione Granger

We’ve got some great detectives here, but not huge amounts of charm and tact, which we might need if we’re going to convince the police to take us seriously, and without stepping on any toes.  While Hermione is absolutely an asset on her own, I also think she, along with Chloe and Matt, would be able to get information out of more reluctant witnesses and things like that.

Who would you want on your detective team?
