Top Ten Tuesday (#75): Ten Finished Series I Have YET to Finish

Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted at The Broke and The Bookish where they post a list idea and everyone is welcome to post the list with their own answers. This week is “Ten Finished Series I Have YET to Finish”, and thanks to a handy spreadsheet I’ve been working on I didn’t struggle at all (more on that soon!).

One book left

Inheritance Cycle (Christopher Paolini) – I read the first few of these years ago, but despite the fact that Inheritance has been sitting on our shelves for just about forever, I still haven’t got around to reading it…

Adaptation (Malinda Lo) – I loved Adaptation but still haven’t got around to reading Inheritance, partially because I’m trying to limit book buying and the library don’t have it, but also perhaps a little because I don’t want the series to be over yet!

Caster Chronicles (Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl) – I enjoyed this series, but I’m not desparate to finish it either – it’s the sort of thing I’ll pick up at the library if it’s there but I won’t be rushing out to buy it.

Splintered (A.G. Howard) – I loved the first book in the series, and really enjoyed the second, but haven’t found myself rushing to pick up the third and final book. Another one I’ll pick up at the library eventually.

More than one book left

Women of the Otherworld (Kelley Armstrong) – This is one I’m working through very slowly! I’ve now read all the ones on my shelves so it’s come to a bit of a pause, but it’s one I’m definitely looking forward to continuing.

Chaos Walking (Patrick Ness) – I only recently read The Knife of Never Letting Go but I really enjoyed it and I have The Ask and The Answer on my shelves, so this is one I’m thinking about reading for sci-fi month.

Crewel World (Gennifer Albin)I loved Crewel but my copy of Altered never showed up and I still have yet to get a copy. It’s one I can’t wait to read though, and as soon as I’m less skint it’ll be top of the list!

Percy Jackson & The Olympians (Rick Riordan) – My sister owns all of these and I started them on a whim one day because I know how much people love them.  I’ve read the first two, but then I got distracted by something else and have yet to go back to them!

Unwind (Neal Shusterman) – I read Unwind over Christmas on PulseIt one year but haven’t yet read the rest.

The Hybrid Chronicles (Kat Zhang)What’s Left of Me had a really unique premise, it’s just another one that unfortunately budget is getting in the way of continuing!

Which series have you not finished yet? Any suggestions on which of these should I prioritise?!

  1. I have yet to even begin the Inheritance Series OR the Splintered Series but both series have been on my tbr shelf for ever! I even own the first book in both series, so I have no excuse XD The Women of the Otherworld is another series I’ve been wanted to start for a long time! Oh but I really enjoyed the Percy Jackson books and actually I just started the Heroes of Olympus spinoff series!
