Looking Ahead: November 2015

What’s on in November?

I’ve got all kinds of things on in November which is very exciting, though it’ll also be busy!  I’ve decided (crazily optimistically) to take part in NaNoWriMo, despite also working/going to a wedding/writing up my dissertation and also taking part in Sci fi Month, so things here will be pretty chaotic, but hopefully good fun too.
In terms of what that means blogging-wise, I’ll be posting for Sci fi month throughout November (hopefully semi regularly, though nothing is scheduled in yet!), and then things will be back to normal in December.  If you’re interested to see how I’m getting on with NaNo, there’s a widget in the sidebar which will be updated with progress 🙂

Last month’s TBR list

Snow Like Ashes | Started
Ice Like Fire
| Not yet started
The White Rose | Completed

Station Eleven | Completed
One Breath Away | Completed
Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda | Completed
Robopocalypse | Completed
Nimona | Completed

Oops, not a particularly good month for sticking to my planned TBR list – I read The White Rose as planned but I’ve barely started Snow Like Ashes and obviously haven’t started Ice Like Fire yet.  I’ve been picking things up very spontaneously this month, so I got quite a lot read but not much off my list unfortunately!

November’s TBR list

Snow Like Ashes | Review copy
Ice Like Fire
| Review copy
A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms| Purchased
Storm Front | Audiobook

I’m determined this month to get to Snow Like Ashes and Ice Like Fire!  I’m also putting A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on the list because I’ve started and am already addicted to that, and Storm Front because I’m at about 70% through and looking forward to finishing it!

What do you have planned for November?

  1. Good luck with Nanowrimo AND Sci-Fi month Faith! I’ve wanted to participate in both of those events in the past but this year, I was specifically planning on doing Sci-Fi Month…but alas! It wasn’t to be. I plan on adding to my sci-fi collection very soon though so hopefully next year, I’ll be good to go 🙂

I actually think that you did quite good sticking to your planned tbr last month! I do hope that you can get to SLA this month, because I’m curious to read your thoughts on it XD I hope you have a wonderful November lady ♥
