Looking Ahead: January 2016

What’s on in January?

PhD applications + working + reading + blogging + resolutions!
I don’t have any specific plans for January, just working (not sure how much yet, everything is a bit chaotic after Christmas), working on my paper write up and applying for possible PhDs.  I’m filled with lots of new year motivation right now, so I’m hoping to do lots of reading, blogging, exercising and other fun things 😉

Last month’s TBR list

Red Rising | Completed
The Dream Thieves
| Completed
Chimera | Completed
This is Where it Ends | Not started

Life On Air | Completed
Blue Lily, Lily Blue | Completed
Seed | Completed

January’s TBR list

This is Where it Ends | Review copy
Our Endless Numbered Days
| Borrowed
Night Study| Review copy
& the winner of the January TBR poll!
Assassin’s Heart | Review copy

I had a pretty good month in terms of reading in December, finishing three out of four of my planned books and a few extras.  Up first is Our Endless Numbered Days which sounds intriguing and disturbing and gripping all at once!  After that I’ll be picking up This is Where it Ends and then I can’t wait to read Night Study because Maria V. Snyder is amazing <3  I’ll be reading the winner of the January TBR poll and if I have any month left over after that, I’ll be starting Assassin’s Heart, my first February review copy.

What do you have planned for January?

  1. Best of luck on your PhD applications!! I’m glad to see that you’re feeling all motivated 😀 Knock ’em dead! And YAY: you’re all caught up on The Raven Cycle ♥ Woot! Now all we have to do is patiently/not-so-patiently wait for The Raven King to come out LOL! You definitely read lots of great books in December so here’s to an even better January! xx
