Bibliogames June 2019

The Bibliogames is a month long team-based readathon where every page you read counts towards your team’s points. This round is themed around Sky High (which I have to admit I had to google and know nothing about!) and the four team choices are heroes, villains, anti-heroes and sidekicks. Each team has different challenges which earn bonus points.  My favourite characters tend to be anti-heroes but I also like villains, so I picked based on the challenges which fit best with books I want to read soon. Slightly less impulsive but definitely more practical with the limited reading time I’ve got at the moment!

Main classes (everyone takes these)

Homeroom – Group Book

The group book for villains is Vicious or Vengeful. I’ve got Vicious but I’ve already read it, so I could either re-read that or buy a copy of Vengeful which I haven’t yet read but do want to!  I think I’ll leave this challenge until later on in the month and see how I get on with books I’ve already got and then buy Vengeful if there’s enough month left over!

Gym – format you don’t typically read

I read quite a mixture of print, ebooks and audiobooks so I wasn’t sure what to do for this one, but graphic novels and manga make up quite a small portion of my reading, so I think I’ll be reading either Attack on Titan 3, Laika or Spider Gwen: Volume 0, all of which are on my shelves/available through the library.

Lunch – a book with a satisfying ending

There were a few queries on twitter about what would count for this one, because after all, how do you know if a book will have a satisfying ending until you’ve read it?! With that in mind, I’m going to read Kingdom of Ash, because it’s a series finale, and finishing a series is always a satisfying experience!

Super villain classes

Mad science – sci-fi book

No idea what I’ll read for this one yet, but let’s be honest, I love a good sci-fi book so I’m sure I’ll find something that takes my fancy!

Archery 101 – book with bad ass main character

Not sure for this one yet, still considering!

World Domination – buddy read a book with a team member

I’m going to buddy read Daisy Jones and The Six with Jude, since we both enjoyed The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.
