Monday plans (#35)

This is my first time taking part in Monday plans for ages (since May!), so I obviously didn’t have any reading plans for last week.   I’m hoping making plans for next week means I might be slightly more determined to find time to read even though things are busy.

Last week

Aside from working, I didn’t honestly do much last week, so I got a fair amount read. I also started playing around with different things to put in my filofax again!  As you can see, I’m still adapting to the Dodo Pad and my new boring routine – now that I have the same schedule every day, I’ve not quite figured out how to use the 5 boxes best.

This week I used one for things to remember, one for hours worked (useful for filling in my timesheet at the end of the month) and one for counting down until my next time seeing my other half (the joys of long distance).  This week I’ll continue playing around and hopefully have some more boxes filled in next Monday!

What I read last week:

This week

Although I got quite a lot read last week, I’m off to visit my other half at uni this weekend (yay!), which will probably mean less reading. I’ve ordered Altered and am hoping to get that started on the train, but I doubt I’ll get much reading done while I’m actually away as it’ll be my first chance to meet his housemates etc.

Monday plans (#32)

So I got very little read this week, as predicted due to the last few days of term before exams.  Hoping to get LOTS read this week since I’m currently very behind on a team challenge.  I’m going home for a few days for an interview though, so I’m not sure if that’ll help or hinder my reading!

I also haven’t actually completed anything for the Clean Sweep ARC challenge (though I’ve started several), so I’d like to make some progress on that this week too.
Plan for last week:

  • Review pile: Continue The Forgotten Ones (Target: 75% | Actual: 37%)
  • Review pile: Start Icons (Target: 25%| Actual: 27%)
  • Review pile: Start Chantress (Target: 25% | Actual: Not Started)

Monday plans (#31)

I got a lot more done than I expected to last week, probably because of the 24 hour readathon! Unfortunately, we’ve now reached the final month of university (ever) and this is the last week of lectures before exams. That means LOTS of deadlines this week, so I’m not expecting much reading to get done – all comes down to how well my work is going really!

Monday plans (#30)

I didn’t make any reading plans last week, which is probably a good thing because I haven’t had much of a chance to pick a book up this week!  It’s deadline time here at uni for the next two weeks, so we’re currently in the library all day every day.

Last week:

  • Unplanned: Sneak (Completed)
  • Unplanned: Level 2 (Completed)

Monday plans (#29)

Another great reading week this week, mostly due to library books coming in and catching my attention!  I also got both Bonds of Need and Enamored for review, which I couldn’t wait to start. I’m temporarily ditching Carnival of Souls because it just isn’t drawing me in yet, and I’ve got other things lying around that I’d rather read.
